Lake Mburo
Lake Mburo has a varying landscape of sprawling open plains, acacia grasslands and marshes, and is home to about 65 different species of mammals and 313 different species of birds including Uganda’s national bird, the crested crane. It covers an area of 260 sq kms, under 3 hours drive from Kampala. Among the animals found at Lake Mburo National Park, we have zebras, impalas, many waterbucks, buffalos, hippos, leopards, crocodiles and a variety of birds. Activities available on your trip include boat trips on Lake Mburo, hikes in the savannah, game drives and Horse Back safaris at the safari lodges.
