You will be met by our representative from the Airport, transferred to your Hotel (30 minutes’ drive) for rest, booked on bed and breakfast basis. Kampala City Tour, where you will experience various aspects of Uganda heritage and cultures, religious places, shopping experiences, and hopefully an opportunity to give back to the society by visiting a children’s home or orphanage. You will visit the Kasubi Royal Tombs, the Bahai temple-the only temple of Bahai faith on Africa, and the Uganda Museum before proceeding to the Uganda Martyrs Shrine. Overnight at a Kampala or Entebbe Hotel -BB.
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover at the Equator. Lake Mburo, a 3 hours’ drive from Kampala, is home to about 65 different species of mammals and 313 different species of birds including Uganda's national bird, the crested crane. A 2 hour boat ride on the lake gives a magnificent wildlife viewing opportunity, among them crocodiles, hippopotamus and birds like pelicans, black crake, Heron. Overnight stay at Lodge/ Camp. FB
Early morning game drive along the lakeside track through the wooded wilderness with scattered thicket. On this track look out for Zebras, Elands, Topis, bush-bucks and bush duikers, black-bellied bustards. On the Kazuma hill track you will see all five lakes within the park and its rolling hills. Departure late morning for Bwindi national park, 3 - 4 hour drive through the beautiful and serene hilly countryside of Western Uganda. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB
There is something particularly special about Gorilla Trekking. Bwindi impenetrable forest hosts about half of the remaining population of the endangered species. The relatively open habitats they are found in and the incredible interaction of the individuals in the group, leaves you with one of the most rich and rewarding wildlife experiences to be found on this planet. After breakfast, assemble for briefing from UWA rangers, Gorilla trekking it takes up to 10 hours. A certificate awaits the successful tracker. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha section, game drive en-route with high chance of encountering the tree climbing lions. Lunch at the lodge/camp, then take a game drive through the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB
Depart for our sunrise game drive along the Kasenyi track. High chances of sighting the Big Cats active and on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. Late breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, swimming, relaxing by the pool, lunch. Afternoon game drive on Kazinga channel (where Lake Edward meets Lake George), on which we will see a pool of hippos, herds of elephants, and lots of wildlife, and birds. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB
An early morning Chimpazee tracking at Kyambura Gorge after breakfast, then lunch at the Lodge/Camp, departure for Fort portal. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel/Guest House. FB
Early morning transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the afternoon. A half hour climb or drive direct to the top of the falls, we have the most spectacular view of the calm waters of the world’s longest river plunging ferociously through a 7 metre wide cleft in the rocks before falling into a pool 43 metres below in a thunderous roar of white foam. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB
A sunrise game drive after breakfast along the paraa section, with a chance of sighting some Big Cats active on their daily hunts. We will drive around in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife, Return to the lodge for lunch. At 2pm, take a boat cruise to the bottom of the murchison falls. You will see crocodiles and hippos on the river nile, Rothschild’s giraffe, lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes, hartebeests, warthogs, Uganda cob, chimpazeess, as well as a variety of bird species. Fishing beneath the falls (at designated permitted sites only) offers an exciting challenge to anglers and a chance to land huge Nile perch and tiger-fish. Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB
After an early morning breakfast, leave the park to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the white rhinos, have lunch at the sanctuary after transfer to Kampala or Entebbe for overnight stay or your flight depending on your flight timings. Souvenir shopping en route.
